1. Who we are

Learn Vocabulary is a personal language-learning app. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to the app's operator.

2. What information we collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Your email address and username (required to create an account)
• Your vocabulary lists, study progress, and settings

We do not collect payment information. We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address.

3. How we use your information

We use your information solely to:

• Authenticate your account and keep your data secure
• Store and sync your vocabulary lists across devices
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a hosted database and authentication service. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled by row-level security policies so you can only access your own data.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to cache your vocabulary data for offline use and to remember your settings. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Guest users have no stored account data; closing the browser tab ends the session.

7. Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
